1] Name?
Kaveh Ardalan
2] Age?
18
3] What instrument do you play in redBus?
I'm mostly on keyboards, but ready to rock a bass guitar, sampler or miscellaneous gadgets.
4] When did you start making and playing music?
Started playing the piano in 5th grade. 2 years later, I started to cut up sounds on my computer and play keyboards in my own style.
5] How would you describe redBus's music?
I'd say our band's basically a collision between four individuals that work as one group. No audience is safe from us as we throw around hip-hop, rock, jazz, and unclassifiable unspeakables in our tracks.
6] Why do you continue to play live music? Why not just solo record?
I'm playing live music as a continuous homage to P. Diddy, my mentor and the inventor of the remix. We grew up together, attending the school of Hard Knocks in our youth. I play live because the energy is alot more alive and vital than just doing solo recording all the time. It's exercise! (jazz-punkercise?)
7] What do you like to do in your spare time besides music?
Other than music, I like to read, rock the occasional game of racquetball, hang out, whatever.
